# V2 Self-Bootstrap Status

## Candidate V2 Branch Summary
This document describes the current state of the V2 self-bootstrap candidate branch. The branch aims to implement a self-improving agent system where the control plane can generate, test, and promote new agent versions autonomously.

## Commits

## Tests

## Verification Results

## Known Issues
- Benchmark scoring currently uses a simplified heuristic
- No real model provider integration yet (using deterministic provider)
- Event bus persistence not fully tested under high load

## Unfinished Tasks
- Integrate real Qwen model provider for coding tasks
- Implement comprehensive end-to-end self-bootstrap scenario
- Add performance benchmarks for agent version comparison
- Document API for external agent registration
